Happy Chuseok!

Tomorrow is the start of Chuseok here in Korea. Chuseok is basically the equivalent of American Thanksgiving, but it lasts for 3 days. Birth Father will be flying in for the festivities, so I'm expecting lots of delicious food. And maybe this time around if I get to meet extended family, I'll be able to communicate... even just a little! Here's hoping!

Happy Chuseok! And good luck meeting/communicating with extended family!

I'm trying to figure out some way to celebrate here...

I think you need to bring this holiday back with you to the states. I'd love to celebrate/eat Thanksgiving for three days.

Keep up your hard work with the studying. I can't even imagine going back to school at our age, much less trying to learn a new, complicated language. I admire your dedication to this.

And I expect you and Mark to talk about all your friends in front of us in Korean when you guys get back.

Happy Chuseok! I'm sorry if you feel I might have offended you. I hope you can still respect my position in this matter but I can understand if you don't. I really don't like my adoptive parents atitude. They really believe and try too convince me that they saved me from a horrible faith and future... Let's just say I don't agree with them on that...

Hope to hear from you again ;)
